Abstract:
This invention relates to a system (1) for animals housed in ownerless animal aid organizations (animal care houses, shelters, etc.), which allows the making of offers for insurance types (life, health, accident, etc.) related to lives of all species of living creatures by entering information and/or selecting the same from the existing lists of an ownerless animal desired to be insured, or the organization of that animal by users (K) (animal lovers, organizations, etc.) who are other natural or legal persons other than the organization of the ownerless animal; presentation of the offers made to the users (K); and identification of the insurance products to the users (K) according to the approvals from the users (K).

Claims:
CLAIMS An inventive system (1) for animals housed in ownerless animal aid organizations (animal care houses, shelters, etc.), which allows making of offers for insurance types (life, health, accident, etc.) related to lives of all species of living creatures by entering information and/or selecting the same from the existing lists of an ownerless animal desired to be insured or of the organization of that animal by users (K) (animal lovers, organizations, etc.) who are other natural or legal persons other than the organization of the ownerless animal; presentation of the offers made to the users (K); and identification of the insurance products to the users (K) according to the approvals from the users (K), characterized in that it comprises: at least one electronic device (2) configured to exchange data using any remote communication protocol and execute at least one application (3) thereon, at least one application (3) which is executed on the electronic device (2) and is configured to enable users (K) to request an insurance offer by entering the data of an ownerless animal or of the organization of the animal, and/or selecting the same from the existing lists and to view the insurance offers made, at least one server (4) configured to communicate with the electronic device (2) using any remote communication protocol, exchange data by the application (3) executed on the electronic device (2) via the communication established, receive the requests for the insurance offer made through the application (3) via the communication with the electronic device (2), determine at least the insurance rate and premium suitable for the insurance product in line with the data within the request for the insurance offer received from the application (3), make appropriate insurance offers in line with the determined insurance rate and premium and submit them to the application (3) in order to present them to the user (K), and identify the relevant insurance offer to the user (K) in line with the approval given for the insurance offer from the user (K). A system (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises an electronic device (2), which is a device in the form of a smartphone, a tablet, a computer, or a portable computer, which is configured to execute at least one application (3) thereon. A system (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that it comprises an electronic device (2) having an input unit in the form of a key, or a touch screen. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises an electronic device (2) configured to establish a connection with the server (4) using any remote communication protocol and to enable data exchange between the application (3) and the server (4) over this connection. A system (1) according to claim 4, characterized in that it comprises an electronic device (2) configured to exchange data with the server (4) using a data bus in the form of the Internet. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises an application (3) which is executed on the electronic device (2) and is configured to enable users (K) to make a request for offers of insurance types related to lives of any species of living creatures they want. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises an application (3) which is executed on the electronic device (2) and is configured to enable users (K) to make a request for an insurance offer by at least entering the information of the ownerless animal or of the organization of the animal they want, and/or selecting the same from the existing lists. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises an application (3) configured to exchange data with the server (4) over the connection established between the electronic device (2) and the server (4) using any remote communication protocol. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises an application (3) configured to provide at least one interface adapted to allow users (K) to select the type of insurance they wish to insure when making a request for an insurance offer. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises an application (3) configured to provide at least one interface adapted to allow users (K) to enter the information of an ownerless animal they wish to insure or of the organization of the animal, and/or select the same from the existing lists when making a request for an insurance offer. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises an application (3) configured to operate on the electronic device (2) by being triggered by the user (K). A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises an application (3) configured to provide at least one interface adapted to allow users (K) to approve insurance offers presented to them. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises an application (3) configured to transmit the information entered by the user (K), the requests made for the insurance offer, and the user (K) approvals to the server (4). A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises a server (4) configured to communicate with the electronic device (2) using any remote communication protocol and to exchange data with the application (3) executed on the electronic device (2) over this communication. A system (1) according to claim 14, characterized in that it comprises a server (4) configured to communicate with the electronic device (2) over a data network in the form of the Internet. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises a server (4) configured to receive the request for the insurance offer transmitted by the users (K) via the application (3) over the connection established with the electronic device (2) and the entered data, from the application (3). A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises a server (4) configured to determine the data entered within the request for the insurance offer and the parameters to be used in determining the values of the insurance offer. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises a server (4) configured to calculate the values of the insurance offer based on the data entered within the request of the insurance offer. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises a server (4) configured to determine at least the insurance rate and premium and to make appropriate insurance offers in line with the data entered in the request entered for the insurance offer. A system (1) according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that it comprises a server (4) configured to transmit the insurance offers made to the application (3) for the presentation to the user (K) and to identify the relevant insurance offer to the user (K) in line with the approval given to the insurance offer from the user (K).
Description:
AN OWNERLESS ANIMAL INSURANCE SYSTEM

Technical Field

This invention relates to a system (1) for animals housed in ownerless animal aid organizations (animal care houses, shelters, etc.), which allows the making of offers for insurance types (life, health, accident, etc.) related to lives of all species of living creatures by entering information and/or selecting the same from the existing lists of an ownerless animal desired to be insured, or the organization of that animal by users (K) (animal lovers, organizations, etc.) who are other natural or legal persons other than the organization of the ownerless animal; presentation of the offers made to the users (K); and identification of the insurance products to the users (K) according to the approvals from the users (K).

Prior Art

Today, there is no system in which the ownerless animals in ownerless animal aid organizations can be insured by the other natural or legal persons other than the organization of the animal.

It is estimated that over 600 million ownerless cats and over 200 million ownerless dogs live on the streets in the world. These animals live on the streets in an unacceptable way, namely, hungry, thirsty, sick, and defenseless, their populations are increasing, they are harmed by people, they can harm people and transmit diseases. As a solution to the problems, these animals can be sterilized and taken to animal care organizations (animal care houses, shelters, etc.) to be cared for. However, such organizations are either bankrupt or unable to grow as they are financially incapable and often have to rely on donations. Therefore, the ownerless animal population in the world and the problems experienced are gradually increasing. These increasing problems and the financial incapability of the existing solutions have required development in the related fields. The Object of the Invention

The object of the invention is to achieve a system allowing the above-mentioned problems to be solved.

An object of the invention is to provide financial support to the ownerless animal aid organizations by making it possible for animals to be insured by other natural or legal persons other than the organization of the ownerless animal, thus making it possible for these organizations to grow.

Another object of the invention is to provide the necessary financial support and assurance to the ownerless animals in the ownerless animal aid organizations throughout their lives.

Another object of the invention is to ensure the welfare of the ownerless animals in the world.

Another object of the invention is to contribute to the control of the population of ownerless animals in the world by providing financial support to ownerless animal aid organizations.

A further object of the invention is to make this opportunity possible for other natural or legal persons who want to provide financial support and assurance to the ownerless animals by means of insurance.

Another object of the invention is to contribute to the reduction of the rate of people who are harmed by ownerless animals on the streets in the world by providing financial support to ownerless animal aid organizations.

A further object of the invention is to contribute to the prevention of infectious diseases which can be spread by the ownerless animals living on the streets in the world by providing financial support to ownerless animal aid organizations. Another object of the invention is to meet the insurant requirement in the technical field.

Detailed Description of the Invention

In this detailed description, the alternative of the system (1) of the invention described herein is described only for a better understanding of the subject and in a non-limiting sense.

The inventive system (1) for animals housed in ownerless animal aid organizations (animal care houses, shelters, etc.), which allows making of offers for insurance types (life, health, accident, etc.) related to lives of all species of living creatures by entering information and/or selecting the same from the existing lists of an ownerless animal desired to be insured or of the organization of that animal by users (K) (animal lovers, organizations, etc.) who are other natural or legal persons other than the organization of the ownerless animal; presentation of the offers made to the users (K); and identification of the insurance products to the users (K) according to the approvals from the users (K) comprises: at least one electronic device (2) configured to exchange data using any remote communication protocol and execute at least one application (3) thereon, at least one application (3) which is executed on the electronic device (2) and is configured to enable users (K) to request an insurance offer by entering the data of an ownerless animal or of the organization of the animal, and/or selecting the same from the existing lists and to view the insurance offers made, at least one server (4) configured to communicate with the electronic device (2) using any remote communication protocol, exchange data by the application (3) executed on the electronic device (2) via the communication established, receive the requests for the insurance offer made through the application (3) via the communication with the electronic device (2), determine at least the insurance rate and insurance premium by processing the data entered within the request for the insurance offer received from the application (3), make an appropriate insurance offer in line with the determined insurance rate and insurance premium and submit them to the application (3) in order to present them to the user (K), and identify the relevant insurance offer to the user (K) in line with the approval given for the insurance offer from the user (K).

The electronic device (2) in the system (1) of the invention can be a smartphone, a tablet computer, a desktop computer, a portable computer, etc., configured to execute at least one application (3) thereon. Said electronic device (2) has an input unit in the form of a key, or a touch screen. The electronic device (2) is configured to establish a connection with the server (4) using any remote communication protocol in the state of the art and to enable data exchange between the application (3) and the server (4) over this connection. In the embodiment of the invention described herein, the electronic device (2) is configured to exchange data with the server (4) using a data bus in the form of the Internet.

The application (3) in the system (1) of the invention is executed on the electronic device (2), and is configured to allow users (K) to make a request for the offers for any insurance types (life, health, accident, etc.) related to lives of any species of living creatures they want by entering the information of an insurable ownerless animal or the organization of the animal, and/or selecting the same from the existing lists. The application (3) is configured to offer at least one interface adapted to allow users (K) to enter the information of the ownerless animal they want to insure or of the organization thereof when making a request for an insurance offer, and/or to select the same from the existing lists. Said application (3) is configured to enable the application (3) on the electronic device (2) to run by being triggered by the user (K). The application (3) is configured to offer at least one interface adapted to allow users (K) to approve the insurance offers presented to them.

The application (3) is configured to transmit the data entered by the user (K), the requests for the insurance offers made, and the user (K) approvals to the server (4).

The server (4) in the system (1) of the invention is configured to communicate with the electronic device (2) using any remote communication protocol in the state of the art and to exchange data with the application (3) executed on the electronic device (2) over this communication. In the embodiment of the invention described herein, the server (4) is configured to communicate with the electronic device (2) over a data network in the form of the Internet. Said server (4) is configured to receive the request for the insurance offer transmitted by the users (K) via the application (3) over the connection established with the electronic device (2) and the entered data, from the application (3). The server (4) is configured to determine the parameters to be used in determining the offer based on the data entered in the insurance offer. The server (4) is configured to make an appropriate insurance offer in line with the data entered in the request for the insurance offer. The server (4) is configured to determine at least the insurance rate and premium and to make appropriate insurance offers based on these values. The server (4) is configured to transmit the insurance offers made to the application (3) for the presentation to the user (K) and to identify the relevant insurance offer to the user (K) in line with the approval given to the insurance offer from the user (K). Industrial Applicability of the Invention

In the system (1) of the invention, a user (K) requests an insurance offer for any species of living creatures he/she wishes to insure through the application (3), by entering the data of the ownerless animal or the organization thereof and/or selecting the same from the existing lists, and the request for the insurance offer is transmitted to the server (4). The server (4) makes insurance offers with at least the appropriate insurance rate and premium in line with the data entered in the request for the insurance offer and transmits them to the application (3).

In the context of these basic concepts, it is possible to develop a wide variety of applications related to an ownerless animal insurance determination system (1) of the invention, and the invention cannot be limited to the examples described here and is essential as stated in the claims.
