Abstract:
This oxide super-conducting wire production method comprises steps of: preparing a super-conducting layered body; bending a tape-shaped stabilizing material to delimit a first portion, where the stabilizing material covers one of the surfaces in the thickness direction of the super-conducting layered body, and a second portion, where the stabilizing material covers both side surfaces in the width direction of the super-conducting layered body, and disposing the stabilizing material in the periphery of the super-conducting layered body; widening the width of the first portion to be wider than the width of the super-conducting layered body using a forming jig, and covering the super-conducting layered body with the stabilizing material; and joining the super-conducting layered body with the stabilizing material, and forming in such a manner that the thickness of the joining material between the second portion and the super-conducting layered body is thicker than the thickness of the joining material between the first portion and the super-conducting layered body.
