Title:
OXIDE SUPERCONDUCTING WIRE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/060969
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This oxide superconducting wire (1) is provided with a substrate (10) and an oxide superconducting layer (30) formed on the substrate (10). The oxide superconducting layer (30) is formed from an RE-123 superconductor. The oxide superconducting layer (30) includes a first primary surface (30a) facing the substrate (10) and a second primary surface (30b) positioned opposite the first primary surface (30a). If the composition ratio of RE and Ba (RE:Ba) in the oxide superconducting layer (30) is a:2, it holds that a is 1.5-2. Further, in the oxide superconducting layer (30), the Cu atomic concentration on the side of the second primary surface (30b) is higher than the Cu atomic concentration on the side of the first primary surface (30a).
