Abstract:

An oxygen-absorbing resin composition which has the high ability to absorb oxygen and can absorb oxygen for long. The oxygen-absorbing resin composition is characterized in that it comprises a polyolefin resin (A) obtained by polymerizing a C_2-8 olefin, a resin (B) which is a resin other than the resin (A) and serves as a trigger for oxidation of the resin (A), and a transition metal catalyst (C), that the resin (B) is dispersed in the resin (A) as a matrix, and that when the composition comes into contact with oxygen, then the oxidation of the matrix resin (A) proceeds and the composition absorbs oxygen. This oxygen-absorbing resin composition has the high ability to absorb oxygen because the resin (A) absorbs oxygen, and is advantageous also from the standpoint of cost.
