Abstract:
As an oxygen concentrator provided with a control means for selecting an optimum purge time that corresponds to the deterioration state of an adsorbent, whereby recovery to an oxygen concentration suitable for treatment is achieved in an extremely short time, an oxygen concentrator is provided that is characterized by: a determination of the moisture-absorption deterioration of the adsorbent being performed when the detection value of an oxygen concentration sensor is at or below the oxygen concentration control value of the concentrated oxygen gas, and the detection value of a pressure sensor is at or above an adsorption pressure at which the oxygen concentration rises significantly before and after a control for shortening the purge time; and a control being performed to make the time of the purge step shorter than a set time.
