Abstract:

Provided are: a fused ring amine compound represented by formula (1) which has a furan ring or a thiophene ring; and an organic electroluminescent element including an organic thin film layer comprising a negative electrode, a positive electrode, and one or a plurality of layers sandwiched by the negative electrode and the positive electrode, said organic thin film layer including a light-emitting layer, and at least one layer in the organic thin film layer containing at least one type of the amine compound. (n is an integer from 1 to 4; B is a structure represented by formula (2); and A is a group represented by formula (4). At least one pair of groups which is an adjacent pair from among the groups R1-R8 forms a bivalent group represented by formula (3) by bonding to each other. X is an oxygen atom or a sulphur atom. However, if X is a sulphur atom, n is an integer from 2 to 4. Ar1 and Ar2 are substituted or unsubstituted aryl groups having 6-30 ring-forming carbon atoms, or the like. L, L1 and L2 are single bonds, or arylene groups having 6-30 ring-forming carbon atoms, or the like. However, if Ar1 and Ar2 are both substituted or unsubstituted aryl groups having 6-30 ring-forming carbon atoms, L is a single bond.)
