Abstract:
A P gear locking mechanism for an in-wheel drive system, an in-wheel drive system, and a motor vehicle. The P gear locking mechanism comprises a brake drum (51), pawls (533), and an actuator (534). Multiple ratchets (513) are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the brake drum (51). The pawl (533) is separated from the brake drum (51). The actuator (534) controls the pawl (533) to get close to the ratchets (513) to lock the ratchets (513) in the circumferential direction of the brake drum (51) or controls the pawl (533) to get away from the ratchets (513) to unlock the ratchets (513) in the circumferential direction. When the pawl (533) locks the ratchets, the brake drum is locked, and when the brake drum is locked, the wheel is also locked, thereby achieving P gear locking. When the pawl (533) unlocks the ratchets (513), the brake drum (51) is unlocked, and the wheel is also unlocked, thereby achieving P gear unlocking. The ratchets (513) also increase the heat dissipation surface area of the brake drum (51), thereby facilitating quick heat dissipation.
