Abstract:
A production method of an anisotropic magnetic powder having excellent hot water resistance, and a bond magnet, are provided. The present invention relates to a production method of a phosphate-coated SmFeN-base anisotropic magnetic powder involving: a phosphate treatment step in which an inorganic acid is added to a slurry containing an SmFeN-base anisotropic magnetic powder, water and a phosphate compound to adjust the pH of the slurry to 1-4.5, thereby obtaining an SmFeN-base anisotropic magnetic powder coated on the surface with a phosphate; and an oxide step in which the phosphate-coated SmFeN-base anisotropic magnetic powder is heat-treated at 200-330°C in an oxygenous atmosphere.
