A package body (1) is provided with a package bag portion (10) for packaging an absorbent product (100) and a skirt portion (20) provided on a surface of the package bag portion (10), wherein the skirt portion (20) extends along a side surface (11) to surround a bottom surface (12). The package bag portion (10) packages the absorbent product (100) in a manner so that the absorbent surface (100c) of the absorbent product (100) stands with respect to the bottom surface (12). Therefore, the absorbent surface (100c) of the absorbent product (100) is not in contact with the bottom surface (12), and thus, if moisture due to dew condensation is present in the interior of the bottom surface (12) of the package bag portion (10), absorption by the absorbent surface (100c) of the absorbent product (100) can be prevented.
