Abstract:
Provided is a package body from which it is relatively easy to take out an absorbent article, and of which the storage shape is less likely to change dramatically when a portion of the absorbent article unintentionally protrudes outward. An opening/sealing part (18), which extends in a first direction (Y) and from which an absorbent article (20) is taken out, is disposed on at least a first surface (11) from among a first and second surface (11, 12). A movement restriction means (25) for restricting the movement of the absorbent article (20) towards the opening/sealing part (18) is disposed on the inner side of the first surface (11), and at least a portion of the opening/sealing part (18) is positioned so as to face the movement restriction means (25) in a third direction (Z). The movement restriction means (25) is formed from a sheet material that is separate from a bag (10a) that forms the outer shape of a package body (10), and at least a portion positioned so as to face the opening/sealing part (18) is not secured to the bag (10a).
