Abstract:
A package for a tobacco product is configured so that the sealing properties between an inner box member and a hinged lid are improved. A package (1) for a tobacco product is provided with: an inner box member (5) having a front face (10), a rear face (11), side faces (12), and a bottom face (13); and an outer box member (6) having two longitudinal walls (18) and two transverse walls (19A, 19B). The inner box member (5) has an openable and closable hinged lid (8), and the hinged lid (8) has an upper wall (14) and a rear wall (15). An extended section (40) is provided in a foldable manner at the front edge of the upper wall (15) of the hinged lid (8) with a folding line (41) therebetween.
