Abstract:
Provided are packaged frozen cooked vegetables with which it is possible to obtain a suitable steamed state at the time of consumption and bring out the flavor of the vegetables. A microwavable pouch 20, which contains vegetables that have been blanched (step S3) after having been chopped (step S2), and then flash-frozen (step S5), is readied (step S6), and the microwavable pouch 20 is heated using a microwave oven, whereby the vegetables in the microwavable pouch 20 are heated by steaming using the moisture in the vegetables, making it possible to consume the vegetables as cooked vegetables. It is therefore possible to set the steamed state of the cooked vegetables after heating to an appropriate state while reducing the steaming time.
