Abstract:
Provided is a packaging bag whereby the contents thereof can be visually verified and whereby medical supplies in said packaging bag do not get bleached. Also provided are a packaging bag containing medical supplies and a method for packaging medical supplies. The provided packaging bag (10) comprises two film layers (11 and 12) that are bacteria-impermeable and do not allow molecules the size of O2 or larger to pass through. At least one of said film layers is transparent. A gas-permeable and bacteria-impermeable material (13) is extended to an opening in at least one of the film layers, sealing the area in the vicinity of but excluding said opening. Medical supplies (15) are placed inside the packaging bag (10), the opening of which is then sealed using a seal (16b) and sterilized by means of EO gas or the like. The EO gas is then removed and the packaging bag is sealed using another seal (16c). Even if the medical supplies (15) are exposed to a disinfectant solution such as H2O2 during storage, said solution will not get inside the packaging bag (10).
