Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a packaging bag for microwave oven use for which the use of plastic material, which is a major environmental burden, can be significantly reduced. [Solution] Provided is a packaging bag for microwave oven use which is formed by heat-sealing peripheral parts of a packaging material into a bag-like shape and is provided with a steam-venting seal part. The packaging material is made of paper, wherein the thickness of a paper base material is 50% or more of the total thickness. The paper base material has a thickness of 30 µm to 250 µm. The paper packaging bag has a steam barrier layer on a surface of the paper base material. The steam barrier layer is formed by applying a water-based coat. The paper packaging bag may be provided with a gas barrier layer, with the steam barrier layer and the gas barrier layer being formed in said order on the paper base material. Furthermore, the paper packaging bag may be provided with a sealant layer.
