Abstract:
A packaging device for home delivery service, saving a requester the trouble of packaging an article which the requester is going to have repaired.
A packaging device is formed by combining a mat (1), an outer layer sheet (2), and a cushioning body (4). The mat (1) is a rectangular sheet having air-tightness, is air-tightly sealed is integrally overlaid on the outer layer sheet (2), and forms a packaging region (Wa). The packaging region (Wa) is a portion folded double with an article (M) sandwiched between the folds. A flap (5) of the outer layer sheet (2), which flap is formed at an extended portion of the packaging region (Wa), is an extended portion (Wc) for closing a gap between the folds of the mat (1). When air in the mat (1) is removed to reduce the volume of the bag body, the cushioning body (4) follows the shape of the article packaged in the mat (1). This increases the filling density of the cushioning body, causing the cushioning body to be in close contact with the surface of the article (M).
