Abstract:
A packaging device is provided with: a transport mechanism for transporting a base having an article placed thereon; and a guide mechanism 39 provided with a support member 342 including a first extension section 342B and a second extension section 342C, the guide mechanism 39 being further provided with guide rollers 30, 31, 32, 33 and a bridge member 35. The packaging device controls the transport mechanism and transports the base and the article from upstream to downstream. After transporting the base and the article, the packaging device moves the guide mechanism downward until the guide rollers 30-32 and the first extension section 342B are disposed below a transport path 103 and the second extension section 342C is disposed above the transport path 103. After the guide mechanism is moved, the packaging device transports the base and the article from downstream to upstream. As a result, the base and the article are packaged in a film.
