Abstract:
A packaging device is configured such that, if, when a transport belt is located at a first standby position, a base mounting sensor detects that a base is placed on a receiving surface and a first side surface of the base is in contact with a pair of hook claws, then the transport belt is rotated by a motor so as to move from the first standby position to a transport position. After a pair of insertion claws is inserted in holes in the base placed on the receiving surface, the transport belt is further rotated by the motor (S3; YES, S5). When the base is transported to the inside of the housing by the pair of insertion claws, an article placed on the base is packaged in a film together with the base (S11).
