Abstract:
This packed column can be imparted with sufficient distillation capability even when the height of a gas-liquid contact part is decreased. The packed column includes a gas-liquid contact part 17, 18 in a tubular body 16, has a liquid distributor 19 at an uppermost section, and brings a descending liquid and ascending gas into contact with each other at the gas-liquid contact part, wherein the operating pressure is within a range of 200-1500 kPaG, the relative volatility is within a range of 1.9-3.1, the gas-liquid contact part is divided into at least two parts in the up/down direction so as to form multiple gas-liquid contact parts, and a gas disperser 20, which disperses ascending gas ascending from the lower-side gas-liquid contact part toward the upper-side gas-liquid contact part such that the concentration of the ascending gas equalized, is provided at least at one position between the lower-side gas-liquid contact part and the upper-side gas-liquid contact part.
