Abstract:

Provided are a packet collection method and system, a network device and a network management centre. The method comprises: sending, by a network management centre, a packet collection command to a network device, wherein the packet collection command comprises feature information about a packet to be collected; receiving, by the network device, the packet collection command sent by the network management centre, wherein the packet collection command comprises the feature information about the packet to be collected, acquiring a collection packet according to the feature information about the packet to be collected, encapsulating the collection packet as an IP data packet of the collection packet, and sending the IP data packet of the collection packet to the network management centre through a network management channel; and receiving, by the network management centre, the IP data packet of the collection packet sent by the network device, parsing the IP data packet of the collection packet, and restoring same to obtain the collection packet. By means of the technical solution, the present invention solves the problems that the existing packet collection method will cause a waste of resources of a network device or a temporary interruption of a service and that the costs of human resources are relatively high.
