Abstract:
Disclosed is a packet discard method. The method comprises: after receiving a packet descriptor, extracting, from the packet descriptor, property information and a queue number of a packet corresponding to the packet descriptor, and concurrently generating a pseudo-random probability value; acquiring, according to the property information, a packet property discard probability for the packet, and generating a cache discard probability for the packet according to the queue number and an occupancy of a global cache space upon arrival of the packet; generating a packet discard probability according to a first preset function and on the basis of the packet property discard probability and the cache discard probability; and when the generated pseudo-random probability value falls within a range decided according to the packet discard probability, determining the packet to be a packet to be discarded. Also provided are a packet discard device and a storage medium.
