The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and discloses a packet processing method and apparatus, a system, a device, and a computer-readable storage medium. According to the present application, by providing a method for setting, in a packet header of a second packet, a target mark instructing to decapsulate a packet, after the second packet is obtained from a first packet, when it is determined that the packet header of the second packet comprises the target mark, a first original packet is obtained from the second packet, and then one-layer encapsulation is directly performed on the first original packet to obtain a first target packet for sending, without the need for multi-layer encapsulation, thereby improving the transmission efficiency of the packet.
