There is provided a packet routing device capable of simultaneously realizing a rapid route repair and communication continuation via an optimal route. A radio reception unit (103) receives a radio signal including packet data received by a transmission/reception antenna (101) via a circulator (102). Moreover, the radio reception unit (103) detects disconnection of the ad hoc network from lowering of the electric field intensity of the signal from the communication partner. A radio transmission unit (104) transmits a radio signal including a route search packet, a route response packet, and the like to the transmission/reception antenna (101) via the circulator (102). When the ad hoc network is disconnected, a control unit (105) performs route repair for transmitting the route search packet to the destination radio ad hoc terminal and route reconstruction to report the route disconnection to the radio ad hoc terminal of the transmission source.
