Abstract:
In order that in the measurement of the available band of a network, the measurement accuracy of the available band is prevented from greatly decreasing even if there is a temporary large change in cross traffic amount, this packet train transmitting device is provided with: an input means to which transmission time information of a predetermined communication packet transmitted to a network is inputted; and a control means which transmits a measurement packet train for estimating the state of the network during a predetermined duration during which a change in the communication speed of the communication packet becomes a predetermined value or less on the basis of the transmission time information.
