Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a novel packing for a reaction tube, the packing making it possible to control the reaction ratio in the vicinity of a reaction tube inlet in a fixed-bed flow reaction in which a multitubular heat-exchange-type reactor is used, to reduce the nonuniform load on the catalyst in the reaction region, and to disperse the load in the entire catalyst layer; a heat-exchange-type reactor; and a reaction method in which the reaction tube is used. The packing for a reaction tube according to the present invention is characterized in that the packing for a reaction tube is shaped so that the volume decreases continuously or incrementally from one end or from an intermediate position toward the other end.
