FIG. 5 is a perspective view illustrating a cover to which eye massage pads are attached according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view illustrating an eye massage pad coupled to a cover according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view illustrating an eye massage pad according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 8 is a plan view illustrating a first supporting sheet with attached magnetics according to an embodiment of

the present invention.

Referring to FIGs. 5 through 8, an eye massage pad is provided on an inner side of a cover 10 covering eyes and improves a blood flow of an eye region with a magnetic force. The eye massage pad includes: a first supporting sheet 20 formed of a non-woven synthetic fiber and having a surface coupled to an inner surface of the cover 10; a first medicine layer 25 provided by applying a medicine with a predetermined thickness to another surface of the first supporting sheet 20; magnetics 30 attached to the first medicine layer 25 at same positions as those of meridians and acupoints of the eye; and a second supporting sheet 40 coupled to the first medicine layer 25 including the magnetic 30.

When the pad considers a flow of ions in a blood flowing within a blood vessel as an electric current and forms a magnetic field in the blood vessel, a force is exerted on the blood vessel on Fleming's law. On the contrary, when the magnetic field is blocked from the blood vessel, the current flows in the blood vessel to affect a blood flow. Thus, based on a fact that a blood, a nerve, and a cell are affected by the presence of a magnetic, a principle that a blood is affected by the presence of such a magnetic is widely known all over the world. According to the present invention, a configuration of the pad will now be described.

The cover 10 is provided in the form of an eye bandage tied around a user's head region or the form of glasses, and the eye massage pad is mounted on the inner side of the cover 10.

The second supporting sheet 40 is provided to prevent the removal of the magnetic 30, and formed of the same non-woven synthetic fiber as that of the first supporting sheet 20. The second medicine layer 35 is formed by applying the medicine to the surface coupled to the first medicine layer 25. The magnetic 30 is disposed between the first medicine layer 25 and the second medicine layer 35.

The magnetic 30 stimulates the meridians and the acupoints of an eye region to effectively circulate a blood flowing around an eye and ionize

nutrients of the medicine existing in the first medicine layer 25 and the second medicine layer 35 to be absorbed into a body through a living cell membrane of a skin. As illustrated in FIG. 4, the magnetic 30 is provided to each of positions corresponding to eight points of the meridians and the acupoints positioned at the eye region.

At this point, the magnetic 30 is designed to have a magnetic field ranging from 2000 to 6000 Gauss. The magnetic 30 is designed to have a magnetic field ranging from 2000 to 3000 Gauss for teenagers, and have a magnetic field ranging from 3000 to 6000 Gauss for adults, thereby improving a flow of a blood around an eye.

Meanwhile, the medicine is formed in a gel state by mixing, at a room temperature, 10 to 20 wt % of a honey and 80 to 90 wt % of natural ingredients obtained by mixing and grinding one or more of a nepeta spike, a cassia seed, an angelica dahurica root, and a rehmannia root in a dry state. An adhesion provided by the honey, prevents the gel mixture from being powdered and being separated from the first supporting sheet 20 and the second supporting sheet 40.

The nepeta spike is known to treat sweating, sanpoong, toojin, cold, headache, measle, and rubeola. The cassia seed is known to treat parotitis. The angelica dahurica root is known to make swelling subside and remove pus and treat headache caused by cold, coccygodynia, nasal congestion, ozena, toothache, and rising. By using the medicine through the combination of the natural ingredients, an acupuncture point is rehabilitated and an extravasated blood is drawn down and a ciliary muscle is normally contracted and an eye muscle is relaxed.

Here, the first supporting sheet 20 and the second supporting sheet 40 are formed of a non-woven synthetic fiber that has a good flexibility as well as a good wear-resistance and a greater elasticity and a smaller shrinkage rate than a woven fiber, and is excellent in ventilating and moisturizing performance. Especially, when the medicine is coated on the first supporting sheet 20 and the second supporting sheet 40, the medicine contains its

ingredients without hardening.

Referring to FIG. 9, according to another embodiment corresponding to the eye massage pad coupled to the cover 10, an eye massage pad is provided on an inner side of a cover 10 covering eyes and improves a blood flow of an eye region with a magnetic force. The eye massage pad includes: a first supporting sheet 20 formed of a non-woven synthetic fiber and having a surface coupled to an inner surface of the cover 10; a first medicine layer 25 provided by applying a medicine with a predetermined thickness to another surface of the first supporting sheet 20; magnetics 30 attached to the first medicine layer 25 at same points as those of meridians and acupoints of the eye! and a second supporting sheet 45 formed of a plastic material and having a surface coupled to the first medicine layer 25 to prevent a removal of the magnetic 30, the medicine being applied to the surface of the second supporting sheet 45 to form a second medicine layer 35.

A plurality of air holes 47 for air ventilation may be provided in the second supporting sheet 45 and the cover 10 coupled with the first supporting sheet 20. That is, when the cover 10 and the second supporting sheet 45 are formed of a plastic material, the air ventilation is required such that the efficacy of the medicine is conducted. Thus, the air holes 47 are provided, and the cover 10 includes an insertion hole having the same area as that of the second supporting sheet 45 such that the second supporting sheet 45 is inserted in the cover 10.

The cover 10 includes an alarm timer such that a user recognizes a use time and thus massage is performed on the eye region for a predetermined time that may range from 15 to 30 minutes.

An operation of the eye massage pad of the present invention will now be described. When the eye massage pad is in close contact with an eye region with the cover 10 tied around a user's head region or the user's ears, the magnetic 30 is disposed at the meridians and the acupoints of the eye region, so that a blood flow is improved by stimulation of the magnetic 30, and the magnetic 30 ionizes the medicinal ingredients of the medicine layer

including the magnetic 30 into a living cell membrane of a skin.

Thus, together with the stimulation effect of the magnetic 30, the absorption of the medicinal ingredients improves the blood flow and metabolism.

FIG. 10 is a block diagram illustrating a method of manufacturing an eye massage pad according to an embodiment of the present invention. The method of manufacturing the eye massage pad includes"• an operation SlO of grinding natural medicinal materials; an operation S20 of mixing the grinded natural medical materials to form a medicine! an operation S30 of forming a medicine layer by applying the medicine to a non-woven synthetic fiber; an operation S40 of attaching the magnetic 30 to the medicine layer; and a supporting sheet-coupling operation S50 of bringing a non-woven synthetic fiber to which the medicine is applied, to be in close contact with the medicine layer including the attached magnetic 30.

In the operation SlO of grinding the natural medicinal materials, a stem of the nepeta spike, the cassia seed, the angelica dahurica root, and the rehmannia root are prepared and dried in the sun, and then uniformly mixed and grinded into grains of 70 to 90 mesh. In the operation S20, 10 to 20 wt % of a honey and 80 to 90 wt % of the grinded natural medicinal materials are mixed at a room temperature and uniformly agitated to form the medicine in a gel state.

Then, the gel medicine is applied to the first supporting sheet 20 of the non-woven synthetic fiber having a predetermined area, to form the medicine layer having a thickness ranging from 1.5 to 3 mm. The medicine layer may have a thickness of approximately 2 mm to continuously maintain the efficacy of the natural medicinal materials and prevent the medicine layer from being split.

After the medicine is applied, the magnetics 30 are attached to the same positions as those of the meridians and the acupoints of an eye region on the medicine layer applied to the first supporting sheet 20, i.e., 8 points. Finally, the second supporting sheet 40 of the non-woven synthetic

fiber including the medicine is in close contact with the first supporting sheet 20 including the magnetics 30. [Industrial Applicability]

As described above, according to the present invention, the meridians and the acupoints of an eye region are stimulated by a magnetic force and the medicinal ingredients are absorbed through a living cell membrane of a skin, thereby improving a blood flow and metabolism. Especially, the magnetic for forming a magnetic field of 2000 to 6000 Gauss is provided, thereby achieving stable wearing and improved blood flow. This makes it possible to relieve eye fatigue in a short time, improve nerve functions of an eye through long- term use thereof, and relieve an eye fatigue caused by short sight, long sight and presbyopia.
