This pad fixation device for a dump truck (DT) which is designed such that a pad (5) is fixed to the frame (1) thereof is configured such that rain water is prevented from entering the inside of the frame from the position where the pad is fixed. The pad fixation device is equipped with first and second fixation mechanisms (100, 200) for fixing a pedestal (7) of a pad (5) to the frame (1), said pad (5) having an elastic body (6) for reducing shock while a bed (3) is lodged on the frame (1). The first and second fixation mechanisms (100, 200) include blocks (11, 15) which have female screw parts (11a, 15a) and are welded to the frame (1), plates (12, 16) which have bolt holes (12a, 16a) matching the female screw parts (11a, 15a) and are brought into contact with the pedestal (7), and bolts (13, 17) which are inserted through the bolt holes (12a, 16a) of the plates (12, 16) and screwed to the female screw parts (11a, 15a) of the blocks (11, 15) so as to press the plates (12, 16) against the pedestal (7).
