Abstract:
Disclosed are a paging method, apparatus and system, and a CU, an AMF and a storage medium, which are used to solve the problem in the prior art of being unable to perform repeated paging in a CU/DU separation mode. The method comprises: a central unit (CU) receiving a first paging message sent by an AMF of a core network, wherein the first paging message carries information of a first discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle of a terminal (UE) to be paged; sending, according to the first paging message, the information of the first DRX cycle of the UE to each distribute unit (DU), so that each DU pages the UE; and if the CU determines that there is a target DU performing second paging, sending a second paging message for the target DU to the target DU, wherein the target DU has not received a paging response for the target DU after a target DRX cycle corresponding to the target DU.
