Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of Internet, and provides a paging method, apparatus, and system. The method comprises: obtaining an identifier of a called terminal using a voice service of a packet switched (PS) domain; generating a paging message according to the identifier of the called terminal, the paging message comprising a core network domain name field, and a value type of the core network domain name field corresponding to the voice service of the PS domain; and sending the paging message to the called terminal. By adding a value type of a core network domain name field, and learning, by a called terminal according to the value type, that the present paging message corresponds to a voice service of a PS domain, the present invention solves the problem that the voice service from the PS domain is missed since the called terminal has a low priority of processing the paging message, and achieves the effect that the called terminal can learn the service type at the paging phase and preferentially process the voice service of the PS domain.
