Abstract:
The present invention is an improvement of Korean patent application no. 10-2015-0172429 which was filed by the applicant of the present application and relates to a paint scatter-proof cover for an airless spray gun having an air curtain generation member, which allows for air to be sprayed to the lower end frame of the scatter-proof cover to form an air curtain, thereby preventing scattering paints from being spread by the air curtain, and also allows for paints scattered after having collided on a coated surface to be coated by the air curtain. The present invention comprises: a scatter-proof cover (S) which is formed in a structure that is opened in any one direction, in which an operation space (32) having a shape protruded than an upper end surface (30) is configured on the upper end surface (30) in the direction opposite to the opened direction to allow easy operation in a state where a knob (20) for adjusting the spraying amount of a spray gun (10) is coupled to the scatter-proof cover (S), a mounting hole (31) for mounting and fixing the spray gun (10) is formed at the center of the operation space (32) so that a nozzle (11) portion of the spray gun (10) is inserted and firmly fixed thereinto, a fixture (50) is provided on one side of the mounting hole (31) to firmly fix the scatter-proof cover (S) and the spray gun (10), a side part (40) is configured on one side of the upper end surface (30) in a shape that is gradually enlarged as compared to the upper end surface (30) as progressing downwards, the lower end frame (60) of the side part (40) is formed in a rectangular shape so as to prevent scattering paints generated while performing painting work by moving the spray gun (10) in the up and down directions from being scattered to the outside, and the narrow upper and lower sections are configured to form a gentle curve; and an air curtain generation member (100) comprising at least one fitting connection (130) which is provided to allow the air generated from the outside to be injected into a ventilation tube (110), an air ventilation tube (110) having a structure in which the interior is formed in a tubular shape and both ends are connected with each other so that air can be ventilated, and a plurality of spray holes (120) which are formed on one side of the air ventilation tube (110) so that an air curtain (140) can be formed in the vicinity of the coating surface while air is simultaneously sprayed in the direction of the coating surface, wherein the air curtain generation member (100) is configured to have the same shape as the lower end frame (60) of the scatter-proof cover (S).
