Abstract:
Provided are a palladium ion adsorbent for solid-liquid adsorption which has both the extraction performance and selectivity of a palladium extractant for liquid-liquid extraction used in conventional solvent extraction methods and which does not require the use of any organic solvent and a method for selectively separating and recovering palladium using the adsorbent. Palladium is selectively separated and recovered using a palladium ion adsorbent comprising an amide-containing cyclic sulfide compound represented by general formula (1) or (2) or a palladium ion adsorbent comprising a support and, immobilized thereon, an amide-containing cyclic sulfide compound represented by general formula (1) or (2). [In formula (1), Rs each independently represents a hydrogen atom, methyl, ethyl, a C3-30 linear or branched hydrocarbon group, a C3-10 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, or a C6-14 aromatic hydrocarbon group; m is 1 or 2; ns each independently is an integer of 1-12; and Ls each independently represents a methylene group, an ethylene group, a C3-8 alkylene, or a C6-14 arylene.] [In formula (2), Rs each independently represents a hydrogen atom, methyl, ethyl, a C3-30 linear or branched hydrocarbon group, a C3-10 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, or a C6-14 aromatic hydrocarbon group; ns each independently is an integer of 1-4; and Ls each independently represents a methylene group, an ethylene group, a C1-8 alkylene, or a C6-14 arylene.]
