Abstract:
A pallet transport device (10) comprises a guide rail (21, 31), an endless first belt (42) that is provided along the guide rail (21, 31), and one or more pallets (11) that have locking means to lock to the first belt (42) and that are loaded, so as to be able to move, on the guide rail (21, 31). A pallet (11) loaded on the guide rail (21, 31) is transported by being locked to the circulating first belt (42). The locking means is a pulley (90) that rotates by way of the outer circumference thereof contacting the first belt (42), or is an endless second belt (16) that circulates with a portion thereof overlapping the first belt (42). A motor (18) that turns the pulley (90) or circulates the second belt (16) is provided on the pallet (11).
