Abstract:
[Problem] To enable use of whole palm trunks by separating vascular bundles and parenchyma tissues from the palm trunks on a mass scale using a relatively simple structure. [Solution] A thin plate material obtained by thinly slicing an oil palm trunk using a rotary lace 1 is crushed by crushers 4, 5. Crashed fragments are gravitationally classified by a gravitational classifier 7 to collect vascular bundles from a gravitationally classified heavy fraction and collect parenchyma tissues from a gravitationally classified light fraction.
