Abstract:
Provided are a pancreas perfusion device and a method for controlling the same with which a drug can be administered only to the pancreas and which can strictly suppress leakage of the drug outside the pancreas. A pancreas perfusion device comprises: a first vein occlusion means (11) which occludes veins through which venous blood from the pancreas flows; a second vein occlusion means (21) which occludes veins into which venous blood from collateral pathways outside the pancreas flows; an artery occlusion means (19) which occludes sites where arteries that nourish the pancreas connect with arteries that nourish other tissues upstream and downstream of the arteries that nourish the pancreas; a drug administration means (C1) which, when an occlusion area that separates the arteries and veins of the pancreas is formed by each occlusion means, recovers liquid upstream of the first vein occlusion means with a drug administration pump and supplies the liquid to the arteries that nourish the pancreas the upstream and downstream of which are occluded by the artery occlusion means; a systemic circulation means (C2) which, when the occlusion area is formed, recovers liquid upstream of the second vein occlusion means with a systemic circulation pump and pumps the liquid into the systemic circulation; and a control device which controls the systemic circulation pump that recovers the liquid upstream of the second vein occlusion means.
