A pantograph device for a trolley-type truck is provided with an underframe (6), a bottom frame (8) attached to a sliding support shaft (7) disposed on the underframe, a top frame (10) slidably attached to the bottom frame, a collector shoe (5) supported by the tip of the top frame, a link arm (24) secured to the sliding support shaft, a cylinder (20) attached to the underframe, a moveable member (19) connected to the piston rod of the cylinder, a spring (12) of which one end is attached to the moveable member and the other end is attached to the link arm, and a link rod (23) of which the base end side is attached to the moveable member and the tip end side is connected to the link arm via a long hole. The pantograph device is configured such that a pantograph (4a) is raised to a predetermined height by means of the cylinder, the link rod and the long hole, and is then raised by means of the tensile force of the spring. As a consequence, the pantograph device can have a large moveable range without using a long and strong spring and can come into contact with the overhead line with an appropriate pushing force.
