Abstract:
This pantograph device is equipped with: insulators (11) that are attached to the roof of a railroad vehicle; an underframe (12) that is supported by the insulators; a main frame that is attached to the underframe and extends upward; a collector head that is supported by the main frame and receives electric power from an overhead line installation; and noise-reduction attachments (15) that are provided on the underframe. The bottom surface of the underframe has: supported sections (121a) that are supported from below by the insulators; a stepped-down section (121b) that is positioned, when looked at in the travelling direction of the railroad vehicle, anterior to the insulator and formed so as to step down from the supported sections; and tilted sections (121c) that connect the supported sections with the stepped-down section and are tilted with respect to the traveling direction. Each noise-reduction attachment has a mildly-tilted bottom surface (143) that is tilted with respect to the traveling direction, said mildly-tilted bottom surface extending rearward in the traveling direction from a corner section (16), which is formed by the stepped-down section and the tilted section, so as to form a greater angle with respect to the stepped-down section than that formed by the tilted section.
