Abstract:
A pants-type absorbent article (1) comprising an absorbent body (10) and a belt portion (30) connecting between a front-side upper end (10eLf) and a back-side upper end (10eLb) of the absorbent body (10), wherein the belt portion (30) is joined with the absorbent body (10) via a joint part (40) that slopes from an inner side toward an outer side in the right-left direction and from a top side toward a bottom side in the vertical direction starting at a beltline opening (BH) toward leg-side openings (LH), and, when said pants-type absorbent article (1) in an extended state is viewed in the front-back direction, the joint part (40) includes a portion (40fp) that projects inward in the right-left direction as compared with a straight line connecting an upper end (40fea) and a lower end (40feb) in the vertical direction of the joint part (40).
