Abstract:
This pants-type absorbent article (1) has an absorbent body (10) and a waistline member (20) that is flexible in the right and left directions. The waistline member (20) comprises a front-side waistline part (FA) and a back-side waistline part (BA). The front-side waistline part (FA) and the back-side waistline part (BA) are joined to each other by a pair of side joints (40) that are provided on either side in the right and left directions. The difference between the magnitude of force obtained when having stretched the waistline member (20) from a natural state until the length thereof becomes equal to 80% of the maximally stretched length thereof and the magnitude of force obtained when having retracted the waistline member (20) from the maximally stretched state until the length thereof becomes equal to 80% of the maximally stretched length is 4.0 N or less.
