Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a disposable diaper that is unlikely to give the impression of exerting a strong constrictive force at the waist. [Solution] Said problem is solved by a pants-type disposable diaper that has side seals 21 formed by joining both lateral parts of a front main panel F and both lateral parts of a back main panel B, that has formed therein a waist opening WO and a pair of leg openings LO, LO located on the left and right, and that further has, attached to a waist end W constituting an edge of the waist opening WO, a plurality of elastically extensible/contractible waist members 24 that are disposed along the circumferential direction of the waist opening in such a manner as to be spaced away from each other in the vertical direction. Sheets 50, 60, 22, 20 constituting the front main panel F and/or the back main panel B have a fold back part 90 that is folded back outward at the waist edge of the waist end W. The fold back part 90 is so configured as to lie over the extensible/contractible waist members 24.
