Abstract:
The pants-type wearable article (1) according to the present invention has a ventral part (A) to be disposed, when being worn, on the ventral side of a wearer and a dorsal part (B) to be disposed on the dorsal side, wherein lateral sections of the ventral part (A) and lateral sections of the dorsal part (B) are joined so as to form a pair of side seal parts (4), a waist opening (5), and a pair of leg openings (6). The side seal parts (4) each have a joint part (40) where the ventral part (A) and the dorsal part (B) are joined, and also have a fused part (26) where multiple constituent sheets of the ventral part (A) are fused to each other and/or where multiple constituent sheets of the dorsal part (B) are fused to each other. In the fused part (26), the length (W2) in the width direction of the side seal parts (4) is shorter than the length (W) in the same direction of the side seal parts (4).
