Abstract:
Provided is a paper storage/feed apparatus which is capable of storing pieces of paper at desired intervals and uses tape with high efficiency. The paper storage/feed apparatus is provided with a take-up roller for winding and rewinding the pieces of paper on at least one tape; a reel for winding and rewinding the tape; a drive source for rotating the take-up roller; a sensor for detecting pieces of paper fed from outside; and a control section for providing control to the drive source, when a piece of paper being fed to be stored is detected by the sensor, to accelerate and then decelerate the take-up roller in a winding direction each time the piece of paper being fed is detected, the drive source being controlled to store the pieces of paper at controlled intervals. Since pieces of paper can be stored at controlled intervals, the pieces of paper can be stored at desired intervals, thereby allowing the tape to be used with improved efficiency.
