Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a paper barrier material which has both excellent gas barrier performance and water vapor barrier performance, and which can be suitably used for packaging purposes, in particular, a packaging material for a food product and the like, a container, a cup, and the like. Provided is a paper barrier material characterized in satisfying conditions (1) through (3): (1) having a water vapor permeability of 3 g/m2·day or less at a temperature of 40.0 + 0.5°C and a relative humidity of 90 + 2%; (2) having oxygen permeability of 3 mL/m2·day·atm or less at a temperature of 23°C and a relative humidity of 0%; and (3)having oxygen permeability of 3 mL/m2·day·atm or less at a temperature of 23°C and a relative humidity of 85%.
