Abstract:
This paper feeding adapter (30) comprises: a base plate (31) which is placed on the top surface of a stack of predetermined-size sheets (S1) set in a paper feeding cassette (10) and is configured so as to be movable in the paper feed direction while being guided by a pair of first restriction plates (14), and which has a top surface on which small-width sheets are set; and a pair of second restriction plates (32) which are upstanding from the top surface of the base plate (31) and restrict, in the width direction, the position of a stack of small-width sheets(S2) set on the top surface of the base plate (31). The base plate (31) is configured so as to be movable between a paper feed position where the small-width sheets (S2) can be fed and a retracted position which is located further towards the rear than the paper feed position in the paper feed direction.
