Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to easily correct the inclination of a reference guide. This paper folding device comprises a paper folding unit that folds paper and a feed unit that supplies the paper to the paper folding unit in a supply direction orthogonal to the folding direction of the paper folding unit while correcting the skew of the paper. The feed unit is provided with: an oblong reference guide; a feed mechanism that feeds the paper in the supply direction while causing force to act on the paper in the direction toward the reference guide; and an adjustment mechanism that adjusts the inclination of the reference guide with respect to the supply direction. The paper folding device is provided with an input unit for a user to input a folding offset quantity for the folded paper. The inclination of the reference guide is corrected by the adjustment mechanism on the basis of the folding offset quantity input via the input unit.
