Abstract:
[Problem] A purpose of the present invention is to provide a paper folding device that can be formed easily and affordably without complicating the structure, does not require input of the type (thickness) of the paper in advance by an operator, and has good operability. Furthermore, a purpose of the present invention is to make it possible to prevent the occurrence of contact sounds, regardless of the type of paper. [Solution] A switching gate plate disposed at a first guidance position causes a tip of paper being conveyed to be guided upwards, and causes the switching gate plate to be placed at a separation position at least before the tip of the paper contacts the upper surface of an upper roller.
