Abstract:

Provided is a means for downsizing a paper money deposit/withdrawal machine. A paper money deposit/withdrawal unit (10) is comprised of a paper money guide unit (25), a bill press (26), and an upper guide unit (27) which is attached on the upper side of the paper money guide unit (25), enters between the paper money guide unit (25) and an input port shutter (20), is moved in the direction of the surface of the paper money, wherein, when a deposit process is performed, the paper money guide unit (25) and the bill press (26) are separated so that a space formed between the paper money guide unit (25) and the bill press (26) for housing the paper money is located on the lower side of a paper money deposit/withdrawal port (5a), the upper guide unit (27) is moved to the side of a pick-up roller (21), and the input port shutter (20) is opened, and after the input port shutter (20) is closed, the upper guide unit (27) is moved to the side of the bill press (26), the paper money guide unit (25) and the bill press (26) are moved to the side of the pick-up roller (21), and the pick-up roller (21) is projected from a notch of the paper money guide unit (25) into the housing space to abut with the paper money and feed the paper money to the transfer path (13).
