Abstract:
A paper money processing apparatus is configured to be provided with a money input unit into which paper money is to be inserted; a conveyance unit for conveying the paper money; an identification unit for identifying whether a paper money is genuine or counterfeit; a genuine paper-money housing unit for housing paper money that was identified as genuine paper money by the identification unit; a counterfeit paper-money housing unit for housing paper money that was identified as counterfeit paper money by the identification unit; a separator card housing unit for housing separator cards to be inserted in between paper money; a recovery unit for housing paper money to be recovered; a recovery sequence setting unit for setting a sequence of recovering genuine paper money, counterfeit paper money, and separator cards into the recovery unit; and a recovery execution instructing unit for instructing the execution of recovery into the recovery unit, on the basis of the sequence set by the recovery sequence setting unit.
