Abstract:

A paper package (9) set in the paper storage parts (6, 106) of a printer (1) for supplying paper sheets, comprising a plurality of stacked paper sheets (7) and a package material (8) for packaging the stacked paper sheets, the package material (8) further comprising a side part (53) extending parallel with the feeding direction of the paper sheets and having an end part at a front part in a paper feeding direction, wherein when the paper sheet package (9) is set in the printer (1), the paper sheets (7) are supplied from the paper sheet package (9) to the printer (1) along the paper feeding direction, a pressing member (41) pressing the side edges of the stacked paper sheets (7) to arrange the stacked paper sheets (7) in a direction orthogonal to the paper feeding direction is installed in the side wall of the paper storage parts (6, 106), and the side part (53) positions the package material in the paper feeding direction in the paper storage parts (6, 106) by allowing the end part thereof to abut on the pressing member (41).
