Abstract:
A paper piercing device is provided with: a blade which is held at a specific position (a) at which the blade is capable of penetrating paper (P); a punching table (4) comprising a paper holding unit (449) for holding the paper (P) so that the paper (P) is capable of reciprocating between an initial position (S) where the paper (P) is opposed to the blade and a penetration completion position (L) where the blade held at the specific position (a) penetrates the paper (P); an operation body which operates in a single direction from an operation starting state (S) to an operation completion state (L); and a drive mechanism (9) which uses an operation force of the operation body in the single direction and sequentially performs an action to move the punching table (4) holding the paper (P) so that the blade held at the specific position (a) penetrates the paper (P), an action to release the holding state of the blade, and an action to remove the blade released from the held state from the paper (P).
