CLAIMS. 1. A paper plank and the like characterized in that wherein a single wall (single flute) corrugated paperboard without apart is fold upward with a maximum distance of 30mm (illustrated as UPWARD 1 in FIG 1) and follow by 180° fold downward(illustrated as DOWNWARD 1 in FIG 1) and follow by 180° fold upward (illustrated as UPWARD 2 in FIG 1). This process can be repeated to a maximum of 50 cycle ( fold downward 50) and follow by 90° bending wrap it all over with the same board, (illustrated as HORIZONTAL 1, VERTICAL 1, HORIZONTAL 2 and VERTICAL 2 in FIG 1) The profile are hold together using bonding agents to create a rectangular paper plank. 2. A paper plank and the like as claimed in Claim 1 wherein the external surface of the paper plank can be reinforced and water resistant by spraying and soak into soluble wax. 3. A paper plank and the like as claimed in Claim 1 wherein the length of the paper plank will be maximum at 7000mm. (illustrated as LENGTH in FIG 2). |
Technical Field
This invention provides an alternative material to replace the current wood plank use in pallet which the invention will provide a more cost effective, lighter and more environments friendly for industries usage.
Background Art
Current industries world required a lot of natural resources such as wood for mean of easy transportation and protection (example pallets and crates) and in actual fact it did not direct contribute to the quality of the manufacture products.
Paper Plank will be able to replace the wood, plywood use in pallets and crates which is more cost effective, safe and light in weight. Paper Plank also can replaced the chip board usage in the cupboard and furniture making which by end of the usage, its able to recycle as a paper and this are not able to achieve with chip board. This will help to reduce the usage of the world limited wood resources.
Disclosure of Invention
This invention is a way to form a plank alike using single layer cormgated paperboard by continues folding upward and downward without apart follow by wrap it around with the same piece of cormgated paperboard.
This profile will be bonded together using bonding agent (such as glue or pin). This will hold the profile firmly. Herein referred as bonding agent.
The strength of the Paper Plank can be reinforced by spraying or soak with soluble wax and which will also create the water resistant function.
Herein referred as reinforced agent.
Paper Plank can be jointed or staked together using bonding agent to be used in industries such as transportation, packaging, furniture and renovation.
Combination of many Paper Plank can be made into products such as pallets, boxes, crates, noised absorption and heat resistance intermediary, comer pack, table top and eco-friendly caskets. Brief Description Of The Drawings And Best Mode for Carrying Out The Detailed Description Of Preferred Embodiments
In order that the invention may be more readily understood and put into practical effects, a preferred example of invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
FIG 1 illustrates the FRONT VIEW and FIG 2 illustrates the ISOMETRIC VIEW of a folded paper plank profile. The material for this paper plank should be in single flute (single wall) corrugated paper board. Be it in A flute, B flute, C flute or E flute.
The profile starts with corrugated paper being fold upward 1 with a length of maximum 30 mm or lesser and follow by 180° folding downward 1 with the same length of upward 1 and follow by 180° folding upward 2 with the same length of downward 1 and follow by 180° folding downward 2 with the same length of upward 2 and follow by 180° folding upward 3 with the same length of downward 2. This process are repeated to a maximum of 50 cycle till folding downward 50 with the same length of upward 50 follow by 90° bending horizontal I with the length till the beginning point of upward I and follow by 90° bending vertical I with the length till end of first 180° folding downward and follow by 90° bending horizontal 2 with the length till the last folding downward follow by 90° bending vertical 2 with the length of fold upward 1.
The bonding agent will apply through out the surface of horizontal 1, vertical 1, horizontal 2 and vertical 2 to hold the profile firmly.
The bonded profile will put into a jig by applying min of 100kg of weight for a period of 5 minute to firmly formed the rectangular shape for paper plank.
For water resistant function, it will be spray or soak into a soluble wax and go through industrial oven to dry it and reinforced the strength of paper plank.
FIG 3 illustrates the actual prototype of folding downward 15 with the same length of folding upward 15 follow by 90° bending horizontal 1 with the length till the beginning point of upward 1 and follow by 90° bending vertical Iwith the length till end of first 180° folding downward and follow by 90° bending horizontal 2 with the length till the last folding downward follow by 90° bending vertical 2 with the length of fold upward 1.
