Abstract:
A conveyance device capable of excellent paper sheet conveyance. The conveyance
device has parallelly arranged air delivery tubes (22), a common tube path (82)
to which the exits of the air delivery tubes (22) are connected, an airflow generation
device (24) for generating an airflow in the air delivery tubes (22), a feeding-in
device(28) attached to each air delivery tube (22) and feeding a paper sheet (32)
into the air delivery tube (22), an on-off valve (80) attached to each air delivery
tube (22) and opening and closing the flow path of the air delivery tube (22), a
drive section (85) for the on-off valve (80), a paper sheet collection device
(34) provided at the end of the common tube path (82), and a control device (90)
for controlling the drive section (85) such that, when loading of the paper sheet
(32) into the feeding-in device (28) of any of the air delivery tubes (22) is detected,
the on-off valve (80) of the air delivery tube (22), to which the feeding-in device
(28) is attached, is opened and the on-off valves (80) of the remaining air delivery
tubes (22) are closed.
